Market share of search services in Europe

ComScore.com has recently published statistics on a market share of search services in Europe in March 2008. Statistics show a clear dominance of Google.com, responsible for 19 billion searches in March, representing 79% of all search services market in Europe.
Surprisingly, second place is occupied by eBay.com, not that such a famous search engine. Perhaps, however, that Europeans sympathy for eBay auctions without portal market share of 3% of Europeans searches in March.
The third is the search engine in Russia Yandex.ru, with a market share of 2.2% of all searches carried out by Europeans. Immediately after the fall Yandex.ru Yahoo, which has a market share in Europe of only 2% in the segment search services.
During the reported period, 221.2 million Europeans have made a total of 24.6 million searches on average 111 for each user. The Finns had the largest online activity, with 143 searches per user, followed by Portuguese, with 128 searches per user, and English, with 124 searches per user.
